- CAPABLE OF CREATING OVER 5,000 JOBS, ENGENDER GROWTH IN THE NON-OIL SECTOR AND ENHANCE FOREIGN EARNINGS IN LINE WITH THE BANKERS’ COMMITTEE EXPORT FACILITIATION INITIATIVE OF APRIL 4, 2019 - THE CONSUMPTION OF SOYMILK IS A PANACEA FOR CANCER AND CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES. - THE SOYMILK IS CHEAPER AND MORE AFFORDABLE THAN COW’S MILK. - IT ALSO SOLVES THE PROBLEM OF PROTEIN INADEQUACY IN AFRICA. - HAS GREAT POTENTIALS FOR EXPORT AND CAPABLE OF GENERATING FOREIGN EARNINGS. - THE TECHNOLOGY STEMS FROM 33 YEARS INTERRELATED RESEARCH OF MICROBIOLOGY, BIOTECHNOLOGY, FOOD SCIENCE, NUTRITION, DAIRY TECHNOLOGY, CHEMICAL ENGINEERING, BIOCHEMISTRY AND LATELY NUTRACEUTICOLOGY (STUDY OF NUTRIENTS THAT CONFER PHARMACEUTICAL PROPERTIES) BY A US-BASED NIGERIAN SCIENTIST. - THE INVENTIONS ARE PROTECTED BY TWO UNITED STATES PATENTS AND ONE EUROPEAN UNION PATENT AND MORE THAN FIFTY PATENTABLE TRADE SECRETS. THE AGGREGATE PATENTS ESSENTIALLY DESCRIBE A BIOLOGICAL PRE-DIGESTION PROCESS FOR WHOLE SOYBEANS TO PRODUCE SOY BASE INGREDIENTS WHICH IS BLAND TO TASTE, CONTAINS DEHULLED-WHOLE SOYBEAN MATRIX INGREDIENTS (NO EXTRACTION OF ANY FORM), IS PREDOMINATELY SOLUBLE IN WATER AND CONTAINS ACTIVATED SOY MATRIX NUTRIENTS. - AN INITIAL MEDIUM SCALE PRODUCTION FACILITY CAPACITY OF 5,000 KG/DAY IS PRPJECTED TO COST $3.3 - $4 MILLION, WITH ANNUAL DERIVABLE REVENUE BEFORE TAXES AND DEDUCTIONS AT $3.5MILLION
This research work tends to explore the underlying hindrance of the Umunomo community in it's development and progress, and as well postulate a way for to ameliorate such situations.
The investigation on the efficiency of PMS (Premium Motor Spirit) and Propane gas using a petrol engine was done. The components and materials used are; 3.0KVA generator (Sumec Fireman ), a hybrid converter, hose, pressure Regulator, 12.5 Kg gas cylinder, and gallon of petrol (PMS). The set up are assembled and firmly installed. It was first run on PMS for constant and variable Electrical loads and secondly run on Propane for both constant and variable electrical loads. Time collection were made for running each of the test both on PMS and Propane gas. Results were recorded, tabulated and evaluated for fuel consumption rate, specific fuel consumption, and Brake thermal efficiency. However, from the results it was found out that propane has a better fuel economy, more environmental friendly, decreased noise level, reduced carbon (iv) oxide and carbon (ii) oxide emission. The propane when used provides a better service life to the generator because there is no accumulation of carbon deposits compared to PMS. Thereby elongating the lifespan of the generator.
As an investor, how and where do I put money or invest during this pandemic? In crisis like this, in the stock market, some stocks do perform well. Looking back at last recession, in U.S. for example, 34 stocks out of S&P 500 had positive returns. These stocks did better despite the recession because of one reason or the other. Therefore, x-raying the reasons and patterns as to what led to these stocks doing well can be a good guide. Healthcare service sector stocks are likely to post good return. You need health care to live and as much less likely to avoid expense on them when income declines. Technically, there is price inelasticity. That is consumers’ buying habit stay about the same even when prices go up; meaning that 1% change in the price of a good or service has less than 1% change in quantity demanded or supplied. So look for these sectors and invest in them.
Going by preliminary report/data, the global economy is en-route to a recession that will surpass 2008 both in speed and magnitude. The OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development) has estimated that the shut downs could lead to a “decline in the level of output between one fifth to one quarter in many economies” Similarly, Bloomberg Economics is forecasting a global recession in the first half of 2020, noting that ‘for some important parts of the world the contraction has already begun’ It foresees the global economy shrinking by 1.8% YOY in the first half of 2020, compared with growth of about 3% in 2019. Fitch Rating report of March 27, 2020 forecasted no positive sector outlooks. All sovereign sector outlooks are negative, reflecting the unprecedented supply-side shock resulting from protracted lockdowns across major economies. Nigeria’s economy has been forecasted to contract by as much as 3.4% in 2020 as global oil prices tumble even if the country is able to contain the outbreak of COVID19 the economy could still go on to, according to estimates by McKinsey & Company. However, it is being projected that the speed of recovery would be swifter because the recession reflects a shock as a result of the virus rather than build up of underlying economic imbalances.
Pig production is profitable and economically viable. You can easily break even and record profit within the first year of production.
