Summary

The medieval drama and the Renaissance drama all started from the religious activities of the past heritage of the biblical (medieval) and Greek/Roman tradition and culture (Renaissance). The death of the medieval drama brought about the birth of the Renaissance drama; but not with whole content of the medieval drama dying off totally, because some of its content also characterized or contributed to the activities of the Renaissance drama.

The purpose of this work is to reveal the relationship or inter-connection between medieval drama and the Renaissance Drama as regard to the early age when drama started.

How the medieval drama came about, what characterized it and its motive/focus for its existence then, and likewise the Renaissance drama.
