Development of a Temperature Data Acquisition (Tdaq) Device in Agroforest Environments

By Engr. Bello, R S.

Summary

Data acquisition (DAQ) is a process of sampling signals that measures real or physical conditions (e.g. temperature, light intensity, fluid flow, gas pressure etc.), and converting the resulting samples into digital numeric values that can be manipulated by a computer.
Considering the conventional method of temperature data acquisition which lacks the capabilities to store and display information, this article proffers solution to those problems which the traditional/conventional method cannot solve by a TAq device for monitoring weather parameters using computer-based programming language which has the intelligence of reading the environmental and room temperature at a given range, and also storing it in readable and accessible forms.
